Macs are known for their high level of protection, thus you should not forget to check your computer for updates regularly. If you have any difficulties with installing the updates, just follow our guide and your Mac will be all done.

Here is what you should do after you have upgraded to macOS Mojave:

  1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu and click Software Update to check for any updates.

  2. In case there are any new updates, just click “Update Now” and they will be installed, or click ”More info” to read the details about each update and select the ones you want to install.

  3. When the installation is complete, your Mac and all of its apps are updated and ready for use.

In case you prefer to install macOS updates automatically or any apps downloaded from the App Store, just check in the ”Automatically keep my Mac up to date” box in the Software Update window and your Mac will notify you when there are new updates and when it requires a restart if you want to install them later.
