Yesterday, Apple launched the second supplemental update for macOS Mojave 10.14.6, available to public.
Users can download the macOS Mojave 10.14.6 supplemental update by opening the “Software Update” section of System Preferences and selecting the option “Update Now”. Updates for macOS Sierra and macOS High Sierra are also available there.
According to Apple’s release notes, the new macOS Mojave 10.14.6 supplemental update “improves the security of macOS” and is recommended for all users.
A support document claims that the update is addressed to a vulnerability which could allow remote attacker to “cause unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.”
Currently, the next-generation version of macOS, macOS Catalina, is in beta testing and its public launch is set for October 2019.
