Forbes reported that according to the IHS Markit analyst Jeff Lin, Apple will reveal its rumored “all-new” 16-inch MacBook Pro in September, this year.
The new redesigned laptop is said to use an LCD panel from LG Display with a resolution of 3072 x 1920, which would be an increase on the current high-end model’s 15.4-inch 2880-by-1800 display.
Additionally, the expected 16-inch MacBook Pro will also have a new CPU, as Apple reported.
The company has just updated its MacBook Pro line last month, adding more powerful processors and yet another tweak to the controversial butterfly keyboard design.
Another innovation which Jeff Lin suggests is that the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro will get processor upgrades in September.
Currently, there are no details on the 12-inch MacBook, which hasn’t been updated in more than two years, apart from the new gold option that was added last year.
