It might come as a surprise to you, but to ‘unzip’ a file on Mac is actually even easier than doing a ZIP file compression.
In order to decompress a ZIP file, you just have to double-click on the ZIP file in question, and the system will automatically open it.
An unzipped copy will appear next to the original compressed file.
