A file share server is a good way to easily share files with colleagues or to just have a way to have some extra space. Connecting to one is a lot easier than you may think.
Connecting to a File Share Server:
- Open a Finder window on your computer (Located in your toolbar at the bottom of the screen).
- Click on “Go” (at the top left of your screen) and then in the drop down select “Connect to a server”.
3. Press the button that says “Browse,” and then look for the name of your file share server on the left side of your window.
4. Once you have found it, select it and click “Connect As” and put in your username and password.
5. Press “Connect”
And just like that, you are now connected to your file share server. You can now share files with colleagues and access any files on the server on any Mac connected.
