In previous articles we’ve shown you how to allow pop-ups in Safari and Chrome. But, there is another browser that is also known to be frequently used on a Mac, and that’s Mozilla Firefox.

Here’s how to enable pop-ups in a Firefox browser for Mac:

1. Open Firefox.

2. Click on the menu button in the top right corner (the one with 3 lines, often referred to as the ‘burger menu’) and select Preferences.

3. Select Privacy & Security from the left sidebar.

4. Scroll down till you find a Block pop up windows option with a check box next to it. Make sure to uncheck the box, in order to enable the pop-ups entirely.

Alternatively, if you want to enable pop-ups for certain websites only, click on the Exceptions… button. If the site is currently open, it will be visible in the list. If not, Copy and Paste the website address into the address form and then click on Allow to enable pop-ups for this site.
