Yesterday Apple seeded Beta 1 of macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to developers for testing. This beta version comes just a few days after the official release of macOS 10.14.5.
For now, there are no SDK release notes from Apple for this software update. Most likely, this beta will include things like performance improvements and bug fixes. It is yet unknown if there will be any new features included.
Beta 1 of macOS Mojave 10.14.6 is available for download through Software Update mechanism that you can find in System Preferences. It is important to note that you’ll need access to Apple’s Developer Center in order to be able to update to this beta version.
This macOS update is widely considered to be one of the last ones before the launch of Mojave 10.15, the official name of which is yet to be revealed.
It is said that macOS Mojave 10.15 will debut this June at the WWDC, and bring with itself a variety of new features. Who knows, maybe some surprises will come early and be included in this version 10.14.6 of macOS. Only time will tell. Until then, we will look out for any novelties around Apple’s releases and keep you up-to-date with everything macOS.
