The day after the new iPhone and Apple Watch models were launched, Apple stock rose over 3% to a closing price of $223.59, making the company hit the $1 trillion market cap once more.

Apple hit the mark for the first time back in August 2018, but fell under the benchmark after low iPhone sales in China.

The company even bought back millions of its own shares, which raised the stock price threshold needed for reaching the $1 million market cap.

It’s been reported that Microsoft currently has a larger market cap at $1.04 trillion.

At the annual Apple event, apart from the three new iPhones the company also unveiled a new Apple Watch, an iPad, and even announced a release month for macOS Catalina.
