Yesterday, Apple released the new beta version of the upcoming macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to developers. The update came three weeks after launching the first macOS Mojave 10.14.6 beta and one month after the release of macOS Mojave 10.14.5, which brought AirPlay 2 support for third-party TVs.
Developers can download the latest macOS Mojave 10.14.6 beta version via the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences after they install the proper profile from Apple’s Developer Center.
As Apple did not release any notes regarding the new beta of macOS Mojave 10.14.6, the experts suggest that the update focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that weren’t able to be addressed in the macOS Mojave 10.14.5.
Alongside macOS Mojave 10.14.6, Apple released beta versions of iOS 12.4, watchOS 5.3, and tvOS 12.4 beta 3.
The iOS 12.4 public beta 4, macOS Mojave 10.14.6 public beta 2, and tvOS 12.4 public beta 3 releases will be available as well for public beta testers via the Apple Beta Software Program portal. However, users are not encouraged to install beta software on their devices.
Most probably, macOS Mojave 10.14.6 will be one of the last updates to macOS Mojave as Apple is launching macOS Catalina this fall.
